1. It Lacks Protein
Many assume that vegans do not consume enough protein throughout the day because meat, dairy, and eggs consist of a great deal of protein. This assumption is incorrect. There are a plethora of plant-based protein sources. Legumes, such as black beans, kidney beans, chickpeas, and lentils, are rich in protein.
