RIACES since its creation, has valued and supported the development of theoretical Studies that provide the conceptual base to the technical-methodological evaluation and, at the same time, supplies the perspectives for the transformation that every Evaluation and Quality Assurance System endures.

In the same way, as a result of the diffusion of the concern for the quality and improvement of higher education and the creation of systems and institutions of QA, takes a greater relevancy to know the exact impact that this growth has had.

One of RIACES members, CINDA, has advance in study about the “Quality Assurance: public policies y University management”, that investigates quality since three different perpectives: public policies, institutional management and the learning-teaching process. The Ibero- American space constitutes the object of study, hence RIACES’s interest in the investigation.

It is important to note that this study counts with the support of an ALFA Project.
